Buttery Velvet Cut-Outs

2 cups butter, softened
2 eggs yolks, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
4 1/2 cups flour
2 cups sugar

In a bowl blend together butter and cream cheese; add sugar, egg yolks and vanilla. Gradually add flour. Chill for 2 hours; roll out on a floured surface to 1/4″ thickness. Use your favorite cookie cutters to cut dough. Place on greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely before frosting. Makes 7 dozen. Enjoy!
