Ingredients
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 1/2 Cup 4oz. Unsalted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 3 oz. Package Cream Cheese
- 1 1/2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Orange Peel, Grated
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F).
STEP 1
Combine butter and cream cheese, gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg yolk, orange peel and vanilla.
STEP 2
Sift together flour and salt and blend gradually into cream cheese mixture.
STEP 3
Divide and form dough into 2 rolls 1 1/2" in diameter. Wrap and chill 1 hour.
STEP 4
Roll out dough on a lightly floured board to 1/4" thickness. Very lightly dust dough with flour. Dust cookie cutter with flour. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets.
STEP 5
Bake for 12 - 15 minutes. Makes 2 - 3 Dozen.
